Thanks for the great hospitality and suggestions. the boathouse is a
perfect size for us and well equipped and decorated. The snorkeling
out past the tiki hut was as good as anywhere we saw on the island.
The snorkeling was the highlight of our trip. Also enjoyed the
mangrove tour with Clyde and Raymond and of course the delicious
buffet at Hole in the Wall. Thanks for everything. It was a great
and restful time for us.

It has been a perfect week - exactly what we had hoped to find. What
a spectacular spot! Thank you for your gracious hospitality and
helpful suggestions. The beautiful reef, snorkeling & Kayaking right
from the boathouse, in the peaceful and secluded place, has made
this trip among our favorite experiences. All of your restaurant
suggestions were great and saved us the guesswork on our first visit
during such a short trip. Thank you.

Marcia & Dennis,
Your place was just what the doctor
ordered for a couple from Chicago. Okay, let's start with the easy
stuff: warmth, water that flows! Green leaves! Winds under 30! Sand
that is not just on the road!
It's the soft things that count: Your caring and concerns, your
thorough knowledge of the island, local area, your friendly
hospitality, the boats...and Dobie, Scamp & Boots.
Suggestions for the
future? Strongly insist on a 4WD vehicle and rent a local phone or
phone chip!

Hard to believe our five weeks have passed. Wish we could stay another
5! Everything has been wonderful, we've so enjoyed the boathouse,
along with the views, the water, the kayaks, the dogs and all the
people we've met (your family was a highlight!). The Hole in the Wall
was great fun and kayaking through the mangroves to get there was
amazing. We've loved the island and look forward to returning.
Thanks so much for making this a very special trip we'll always
remember.

Dear Marcia & Dennis
We had the nicest time! We so appreciated all your "prep" in planning
our trip. But nothing prepared us for how great the house was (the
internet pix don't do it justice!) and how wonderful the island was.
Our highlight was the diving and Kevin the divemaster. He made our
trip with his recommendations, great dives and boating us around!
You guys were great - we appreciated all your help and especially
letting us use things like the kayaks. We loved it all.

Marcia/Dennis, thanks
again for a great week. After spending 36 years working on U.S.
Government projects/programs and managing up to 500 people and
their workload and personal issues, it was like heaven to only
have one agenda and one schedule to meet. The boathouse was
great, diving was great, and the peace and quite was great.
I apologize for being
somewhat antisocial and hermit like but I had great time reading,
catching up on old westerns, and enjoying the Honduran Rum
and beer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castaways Cove. It was perfect for
our second week on the island. We loved the chance to explore the east
end. Hole in the Wall, the mangroves, scuba/snorkeling with Kevin and
the great food and views at Windsong are experiences we won't soon
forget. We loved the boathouse and the millions of stars we can see
from here!

Gee, I’m so relaxed I’m not sure of the date! We thoroughly enjoyed
our stay at Castaways Cove. Returning to the boathouse after a day of
adventure was like coming home. The snorkeling was wonderful as was
our first attempt at scuba diving. We especially enjoyed the pig roast
and crab races to benefit the local schools. Please let your future
guests know about a great time for a worthy cause. We return home
tomorrow after a relaxing week. Good luck with your new

Our thanks to you both. We have found another place besides our
beloved Kapaa, Kauai. Scuba diving was outstanding. We have fallen in
love with this island and plan on returning. We feel so at home here
in your first home. Your dogs were great, polite visitors.
Originally, we were going to fish on your dock but then, even your
fish became our friends. The kayak ride through the mangroves is a
memory burned into our brains.
“The Hole in the Wall” is appropriately named. Bob & “that” Harry made
us feel welcome. Our sunsets were awesome!
We visited numerous resorts throughout Roatan and Earl and I think we
are staying at the best place on the whole island!"
